Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was a young child. She graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as the main Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show was coming back to its production. The fourth season began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television.
