Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director as well as a supermodel. Alongside her stunning appearance, her steady success in the film industry is testament to her abilities as an actor. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas has become an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose played sports like basketball and kickeboxing when she was growing up. She made her debut professionally at the age of 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she was able to win two fights via submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC the strawweight division at the age of 22 years old. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza via a technical knockout within less than 3 minute of the Round One.
